We are a RIBA Chartered Practice with the skills and experience to see projects safely through to completion, overseeing design, planning, building regulations, contractors and budget. We can be hired to manage any or all parts of the following stages of the design and construction process on your behalf:
BRIEF
We help you define your objectives for the project, identifying the risks involved and interpreting your ideas imaginatively.
DESIGN TEAM
We enjoy good relations with an extensive network of local design professionals, contractors, sub-contractors and specialist suppliers and are able to recommend an appropriate team to work on your project.
DESIGN
We work with you to develop a design that not only meets but exceeds your needs and aspirations. Sketch options are discussed and developed into a package of design drawings and outline specifications.
APPROVALS
In addition to securing Planning Approval and Building Regulations there may be other legislation to consider such as Listed Building issues, Scheduled Monuments, Conservation Areas, Green Belt, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Protected Landscapes and Species. We can provide expertise in each of these areas.
PREPARING TO BUILD
With planning approval in place we can recommend an appropriate form of building contract and prepare drawings with technical specifications which describe the agreed proposals ready for selected builders to cost.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE
We can help you select suitable builders, obtain competitive prices for construction, monitor progress, standards, arrange for input of other design specialists, and oversee the coordination of the construction through to its successful completion.
